Achieving your Perfect Image
At PI we are dedicated to ensuring that we set the highest standards in all that we do. This extends to our home lives and if you read the following you will see how some of our dedicated team have filled their time in order to ensure their perfect images and to raise funds for local charities.
Running – Tim Duncan ran the Great North 10k, James Allen completed the Great North Run.
Cycling – Julia Thornley did the 33 mile Northern Rock Cyclone in June, Andrew Robson cycled from John O Groats to Lands End (1000 miles) in June, Paul Dodds is currently cycling across Japan.
Kendo – Stu Carruthers achieved his first Dan in Kendo.
Triathlon – Ruth Robson completed two open water sprint triathlons in June and September.
Swimming – Sean Lally, McKinley White and Dan Garnys trained hard in order to do the one mile Great North Open Water Swim, only to be thwarted by poisonous algae which caused the race to be cancelled at the last moment. Sean did, however, swim his mile in the Tyne at an event organised by One Life Triathlon club ( he did say never again!).
