Website fever

So, as you will have noticed, we have a new Perfect Image website. It's been my job for the last few months to pull together the various strands that make up a website, and make sure we got the finished product out the door on time, and to the highest possible standard. As with any website build, it can be stressful at times, but overall I'm really happy with the way it turned out, and look forward to hearing your feedback on the site.

We had several aims with the new website. Firstly, we wanted to fully realise our branding on the site. Our old site had been changed, tweaked and modified over years to reflect our latest branding. With the new site, we wanted to build i t from the ground up with our brand and image a core part of it. This is always an important consideration for any company with a new website, and I think the differences between our old site and this one are clear. The difference it can make when fully considering the impact your corporate brand can have on a site shouldn't be under-estimated, and the potential end results can be seen here quite clearly.

We also wanted to better communicate our ethos and beliefs as a company. We're not simply an IT service company selling Microsoft products. And the new site better reflects our mix of service and skills we have in-house that can be of benefit to your organisation. Business problems rarely have one solution or product that will magically fix the issue. We know this from having worked in this business for over 18 years, and our new site, hopefully, better reflects our understanding that any problem needs to be understood fully, and tackled jointly, in order to produce the best end solution. I think the structure of the new site helps reflect this, and hopefully better communicates some of the benefits we can bring to your business.

Finally, we wanted a site that was easier for you guys to use, and allow you to get in touch with us, follow our news and events, and just generally know more about us. This blog is a part of that process, and as the site develops and progresses, hopefully we will continue to find interesting and innovate ways to talk to the people that matter most...... You.

As I said at the beginning, we're really keen to get your feedback on the site, myself in particular, to know whether or not all the hard work has been worth it. I think it has, and hopefully we feel the same.
